Move from another pool
Leaving another liquid staking pool usually means unstaking, waiting up to a day for the Gram, and staking again. Tako does it in one transfer.
| You hold | From |
|---|---|
| tsTON | Tonstakers |
| Stakee’s token | Stakee |
| hGRAM | Hipo |
Send your tokens to the Tako migrator for that token, with the small migration fee attached as the forward amount. Ordinary wallets cannot attach that amount yet, so for now the transfer is built with a developer tool; a button in the app is coming.
The migrator then:
- asks the source pool for an instant withdrawal of your tokens;
- receives the Gram right away;
- stakes it in Tako for you.
You end up with takoGRAM in the same transaction chain, usually within a minute.
If it cannot be done instantly
Section titled “If it cannot be done instantly”The migration only uses the source pool’s instant liquidity. If the source pool cannot pay right now, nothing is burned: your tokens come back to you with the unused fee, and you can try later.
What it costs
Section titled “What it costs”- The source pool’s own instant withdrawal fee, if it charges one.
- Network fees, shown by the migrator’s
get_migration_feegetter. The unused part comes back.
There is no Tako commission on migration.
What to know
Section titled “What to know”The migrator trusts the source pool’s contracts. If that pool upgrades its code in a way the migrator does not recognise, migrations stop and your tokens are returned rather than lost. See Migration for the details.
